Deirdre believes that every child’s voice should be heard and mothers need more support from birth. She advocates early head to toe assessments to ensure babies respond bilaterally with infantile reflexes necessary for feed, sleep, and optimum development to reach their full potential.
Early assessment and intervention, particularly cranial nerve checks at birth and during the first ten days is crucial for the development of sucking, swallowing, movement, and other critical milestones. Teaching parents to support their child's development through balanced nutrition, movement, and adequate sleep is also central to her philosophy.
Award Winning
Deirdre emphasizes the importance of regular checks for children to support their growth and development. She recommends full skeletal, neurological & observational checkups, and recommends the use of gentle techniques, including myofascial releases, cranial and chiropractic care, particularly the McTimoney protocol (Head to Toe). Parents given clear aftercare guidance to ensure their child achieves their optimum best.
